membership policies

payment:

  • Payment for monthly membership is due on the 1st of each month.
  • If your payment is more than 7 days late, you will be charged a late fee of $20
  • Monthly membership is an automatic reoccurring charge.  You may cancel at any time but you MUST provide us with 15 days notice to do so.  Notice to cancel must be in writing via email. Verbal notice cannot be accepted.

arriving at class:

  • Please do not interrupt a class in session.You may not walk across the Studio floor when class is in session.If you come early please wait up front, or if you have children for childcare, please come through the back door.
  • If you arrive late for class you are welcome to join in (with exceptions), but please bring children through the back door (this includes late arrival for a kids class)
  • For your own safety, you may not join a yoga or pilates class that has been in session for more than 15 mins.
  • It is your responsibility to communicate any injuries, pregnancies or other necessary information (both new and ongoing) to the class instructor.
  • Please sign in for every class you attend.Sign in sheet is on the front desk.

children:

  • You must sign your children into childcare every time they attend.Sign in sheet for children is in back.
  • You may not bring sick children to the Studio (fever, nose running green or hacking cough must be clear for 24 hours before coming to the Studio).
  • Children MAY NOT be on the Studio floor while you are working out. We are not insured for this situation. If your child is on the lower carpet area, you must workout directly next to them, and encourage them to stay on the carpeted area.
  • We allow snacks in childcare at Studio Seaside, however, no food is allowed in the front baby (carpeted) area. Please avoid bringing nuts or peanut butter in snacks.
  • If your child bites another child at the studio they will be asked to “cool off” for a 2 week period, or until the parent can ensure that their child will not bite again.  If a second bite occurs, your child cannot come back for 1 year.
  • Please help up keep your children safe by closing all gates and doors behind you each and every time you pass through.

kids classes:

  • Please respect the fact that your kids need to focus on their class in order to have a great experience.For this reason, and because we have a small studio, please limit parent talking to a minimum, or move it to our back rooms while kids classes are in session.
  • Children must meet the age requirements set for the class.If your child is too young, they may not take class, unless we designate the class “sibling friendly” or the instructor grants permission.
  • Please do not allow younger siblings to run through, attempt to take, or disrupt classes.
  • You must have the appropriate pass to take a kids class.  This would include a Deluxe Family Membership or a 10 class pass.

stroller classes:

  • Please understand that you are responsible for your child at all times during an outdoor class.  If you let your child out of their stroller,  it is your responsibility to watch and care for them.

childcare workers:

  • We recruit and train wonderful staff at Studio Seaside, and this takes a great deal of time and effort.  Members are more than welcome to use our staff for babysitting jobs, and are more than welcome to approach our staff for this purpose.  However, we ask that you respect the fact that we need to keep our staff and you do not recruit them to work for you during times they are scheduled for shift.  Doing so will result immediate  membership termination.
