Creative Movement and Music for Children: Th 11:00am (ages 0-5)
This class is a joyful way for children to discover movement through music, channel energy, develop physical skills, stimulate imagination and promote creativity. Through movement, children will learn about their bodies, the space around them, and each other. Creative Movement and Music can be used to enhance all areas of learning and growth. Children all ages will enjoy the use of instruments, listening, and motion for a fun hour at the studio. Instructor: Kelly Lofdahl
Mandarin Chinese: Sa 10:45am (ages 0-3), Sa 11:45am (ages 4 and up)
Learn Mandarin Chinese in a fun setting! Through activity and play, our children will be learning how to speak Chinese words and phrases. Research shows that regular, early exposure to a foreign language opens the neural pathways in the brain, so that language acquisition becomes easier. Mandarin Chinese is an ever-more practical language, and early childhood is the prime time to learn! Instructor: Vivian Chang
Passport to World Art, Culture & Literature: W 3:30pm (ages 3-7 yrs)
Every week your children will focus on a different country or cultural tradition. Each child will create a new piece of art work to take home and treasure. An hour full of music, dance, geography, art and fun! Instructor: Kelly Lofdahl
Play Ball: T 10:45am (ages 3-5 yrs)
Children learn basic sporting skills and eye-hand coordination through basketball, hockey, soccer, baseball and more. Come drop of your children while they have fun exploring different sports and burning off some energy through exercise. Instructor: Amy Lussier
Pre-Ballet: M 10:45am & Sa 10:00am (1-3 yrs), T 3:30pm (4-7 yrs)
Pre-Ballet is a fun was to introduce your little ones to ballet! Pre-Ballet students are introduced to elementary ballet terminology, positions and movements.Gentle guidance with creative, age-appropriate activities helps the beginner develop rhythm, body awareness, cooperation and basic ballet skills.In this class the children can gain a sense of accomplishment as well as explore their love of dance and music.Instructor: Rachele Ashcraft
Yoga: Th 3:30pm (4-7 yrs)
Kids are introduced to yoga postures and philosophy in a fun, safe, and non-competitive environment. Music, movement, and breath are used creatively to help children develop strength, flexibility, and focus. Great for building confidence and preserving individuality. Instructor: Staci Bina
