Kiss My Aesthetic Podcast Interview

I recently had the pleasure of being a guest on the Kiss My Aesthetic Podcast, hosted by Michelle Wintersteen, and it was an awesome experience! I'm excited to share some of the highlights with you.

In the podcast, we explored a variety of topics, from my origin story and how I got into graphic design, to the branding process itself and the challenges and rewards that come with it. We talked about the value of educational content, the benefits of the One-Concept Method, and the importance of finding time for self-care as a freelancer. We also touched on the role that technology plays in the design process, including the use of tools like ChatGPT to enhance our work and make our lives easier.

As a brand designer, it took a long time for me to get to where I am in my business. I never imagined that I would one day be on a podcast talking about it. It hasn't always been easy. Those first five years were a real struggle. I spent countless hours stressing out over how to make ends meet, Googling everything under the sun, and wishing I had a community of fellow designers to turn to.

But I didn't give up.

Through perseverance and dedication, I managed to turn things around, and my design studio, Studio Seaside, became much more than I ever imagined. These days, I split my time between client work and helping other brand designers through my online course, Brand Process Savvy.

Whether you're a fellow designer or just someone interested in the design process, I hope you find something valuable on the podcast. So, let's dive in and see what Michelle and I discussed on the Kiss My Aesthetic Podcast!
