How to Sell Digital Design Products With Squarespace
Squarespace is well known for their seamless, step-by-step user interface from set-up to selling and all aspects in between. In the previous blogs we have talked about setting up your website, and how to start your SEO enriched blog post. In this post we will take it a step further and discuss how to start selling your digital design products, and just like every other aspect of Squarespace, this too is a simple, seamless process intended to be quick and easy for every user.
First of all, Congratulations! You now have a product to sell so the hard work is pretty much done! Now to get it out to the world:
Set up your online ‘store’
The first step is to set up your online ‘store’ where all your products will be located. To do this simply click the + button next to the section where you want your store page to be located and then select the products page type from the drop down menu. You will then be prompted to name your page before being taken to the set up section for your new store!
Add your product
Next step is to add your product! To do this simply click the + icon in the upper-right corner. You will then be asked what type of product you want to add and as this is for adding digital products you will select digital. After you add your product you will then give it a name, photo and description that best suits it - this can all be edited later on if you need!
To set up the price you will type your product’s price under the Pricing and Upload tab. If it is free then just type in $0.00! You can also put it on sale with just one click. Under the same tab you will upload your product from your computer to Squarespace that will be sent to the customer after purchase.
Publish your product
The last step is to publish and make your product visible to the public! If you want to work on it more there are also several different design aspects that you can go back and add to, but if you want to keep it simple there is really no need!
