Add a blog section to your website
If you havenโt already, add a blog section into your website layout. In the editing section of your website, click into the pages section, hit the + icon, scroll down to until you find โblogโ and once you click that it should be added!
This section will also take you into the behind the scenes side of your blog post - it is where you can add SEO, share to other media outlets, and more. There is also a design section but you will be able to come back to this as well once you have a few posts and have content to fill in on the design side!
Start writing!
This is it! Your moment! Say what you need to say to your audience, introduce yourself, your business. Educate your audience on whatever it is they need to know. Odds are if you are starting a blog, you have already thought through at least a few post ideas.
Once you have your post done, now itโs time to return to the behind the scenes aspects to boost itโs effectiveness and spread your voice as far as you can.

Behind the scenes
Not every aspect of this part of your blog post building is necessary to fill out, but here we will lay out what is:
Options
Upon completion of your post, you will be prompted to add a thumbnail image, a blog excerpt and fill in a blog post URL. You do not have to create one, but it is highly recommended that way your post will be easier to find - not to mention the fact that it just looks more professional.
SEO
It is super important to fill this section out as this is what is going to help drive traffic to your blog, and therefore your website. The title should automatically fill in as your blog post title and the description can be the excerpt from the previous section!

Social, Share, Location
Unless you are going to be sending these to other channels or want to get more in depth, these tabs are better left alone! I would recommend putting all your time and effort into the previous sections in order to get the best results with your posts!
